I am the VRSPE

Sometimes I talk for a living.

One of the best tasks I do for my job is voice-overs for distance learning modules. These often involve lots of medical terms, and can be pretty tricky. Look at one of the sentences I just had to record. Try saying it out loud, without pauses or stammers. (I actually got it on the third take):

“Second, the adipose tissue is processed through enzymatic digestion, filtration, and centrifugation to extract a set of heterogenous cells called stromal vascular fraction (SVF).”

Tongue-tied and twisted.

People from all over the world have viewed lessons I’ve done. I figure I must be the Voice of Regulatory Science for Planet Earth (VRSPE) (Regulatory Science uses a TON of acronyms). Probably the only one. Mostly because it’s a profession that is relatively new, and there is literally nothing else out there like the content we’re producing.

Wild to think about, tho.

UPDATE:  After conducting an official count, at least 1 person has heard my voice in 89 countries and territories.  What???
